We were invited by the Samagra Shiksha Kendra of Karnataka for training 270 early childhood teachers on emotional wellbeing and classroom management.

Training happened in 3 batches for 276 teachers from different districts of Karnataka at Regional Institute of English South India, Jnana Bharathi Campus, in Bangalore on 15th, 22nd and 29th of November. Many resource persons from different NGOs and educational Institutions also attended.

Our sessions were well received by all the participants. It was an aha moment for many of them. They loved our Brain Gym activities, mindfulness games, opening and closing ceremonies, Peace corner concept, relaxation breathing exercises, body tapping, Mandala colouring etc.

Early this year we were invited by the Samagra Shiksha Kendra of Karnataka for training 270 early childhood teachers on emotional wellbeing and classroom management.More than anything, this experiential session was a healing session for them. According to their feedback, they need more of these sessions. One of their take away from the workshop was “self-care”. Many of them clearly said “If I go to class with my emotional baggage, I will not be there for the children fully. This workshop has made me understand this. If I understand myself well, I can understand what the child is going through and help express safely”

As Prajna Vidya facilitators, all 10 of us felt the oneness while facilitating with an open heart. We surrender our work to all the masters.
